Library_books1

If you need a book or article for your studies that we don't stock then we can try to get it from another library for you. Its a free service but please request the book early as it can take a while for the book to arrive.
You will need to fill out a request form at the library desk or alternatively complete the form on our Library page on Moodle http://moodle.newcollege.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=292
This is worth remembering when you are planning an assignment.

24/7 access to Library e-Resources

Laptop_-students

It’s worth remembering that as a New College student you have access to a wide range of electronic resources that are available whenever you want to use them and not just when the library is open.

These include:

  • E-books – we now have over 3,000 that you can access
  • Databases e.g. Infotrac which has articles from a huge range of newspapers and magazines
  • Electronic access to Journals and Magazines

The easiest way to access these resources is by going to our Library page on Moodle http://moodle.newcollege.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=292

Many of the resources will require a free Athens account to access off campus. Ask in the library for more information on how to obtain one.
